Our Story
Concept
In Rua de Ceuta, known as the architects' street in Porto, we find in most of the buildings the involvement of the languages and meaning of the Modern Movement with luxury hotels, premium stores and fine restaurants.
Ceuta Terrace Suites project came out in the creation of 8 suites with good urban taste, in a cozy and very comfortable building. Each corner is treated in a simple and lofty way, straight and flaunt, where we feel the Modern principle of structural independence and a total freedom of space organization.
Matching solutions of today and the past led us to furniture that is fully integrated with the space and engaged with detailed lightning selection. The relationship between the Terrace and the social area remits to the 50's life that was once enjoyed in the 6th floor penthouse.
This space relationship allows us to offer an unique experience with the city and its modern needs. Extracts the essence in fluid and continuous spaces, mindful to the place, the language and feelings, evoking the desire to know the living of the local restaurants, bars and shops walking through the charming and traditional streets.
ARCHITECTURE
Ceuta Terrace Suites is the rehabilitation of the top three floors of a building projected in the 50's by two of the most well recognized architects in that era - Arménio Losa and Cassiano Barbosa. At the time, the building was developed as the conciliation of housing and offices through two different entrances.
The magnificent panel designed by Augusto Gomes in the Ceuta building' facade reinforces the very special identity and uniqueness of this building.
The circle design staircases with a particular elegance of detail and execution are spread out through the interior of the building serving common and private areas. Close to a large glass window that runs through the three top floors of the building, the relation between the lightning and the staircases produces one of the most memorable places for those who appreciate a masterpiece in architecture.
